Breast Reconstruction patient information DVD

The quality of information available to women considering breast reconstruction after mastectomy varies widely, particularly for women considering more advanced techniques such as the deep inferior epigastric perforator (DIEP) flap. Between 2005-2008 I produced a patient information DVD based on interviews with patients, surgeons, and allied health professionals. The DVD, “Breast Reconstruction For Life” was launched in October 2008 as part of Breast Cancer Awareness Month and achieved widespread coverage in the media.
